Athens - Athens: The Saronic Gulf and the East Cost of Peleponnese

An itinerary for one week, rich, varied and more relaxing when the Meltemi blows in the Cyclades.

 

Day 1: Piraeus - Aegina

Sail to Aegina, (2h). Aegina, the Pistachio Island with the beautiful temple of Aphaia situated on a high hill covered with pines. Stopover at Aghia Marina to visit the temple Aphaea. In the late afternoon landing at the picturesque port of Aegina (1hr).

Day 2: Aegina - Epidavros

Navigating to Epidaurus (3h). Visit of the archaeological site of Epidaurus, city of Asclepius with its famous Roman theater and relaxing surroundings.

Day 3: Epidaurus - Hydra

Sail to Hydra (4h). Old Port of corsairs built in a natural cove. Due to its bright light it became an island of artists.

Day 4: Hydra - Nafplio

Navigating to Nafplio (4h). Situated at a beautiful location in the Argolian, Nafplion with its Venetian castle is one of the most attractive towns of Greece. Visit Castle Palamidi with the 999 steps ... Excursions by bus from Nafplion to Mycenae.

Day 5: Nafplion - Spetses

Navigating to Spetses, (3h). Islands crisscrossed by traditional carriages ... Beautiful pebble mosaics decorating the floors of certain squares and streets.

Day 6 Spetses - Poros

Sailing to Poros (3h). Anchoring in the bay of Poros. Island green and calm. Walk through the city and hike to beautiful monastery of St. Nicolas.

Day 7 Poros - Piraeus Sail to Piraeus (4h). Anchorage in one of the many wild berries on the island Agistri.
