The Cape Verde Islands are an ideal area for open sea sailors. You can expect Caribbean water and sun conditions the whole year. Because of the inviolate nature and the interesting sea fauna you can enjoy sailing in it’s original way.

Vast sandy beaches are especially on the plane east-islands as well as on Sao Vicente . Behind the beaches are wide dune areas and salt meadows. There you can find different types of plants and about 90 of them are nowhere on the earth too.

From Mai to October five kinds of sea turtles come onshore. In the time from winter to spring
you can watch humpack wales too.

Our experienced skippers will make you discover the most beautifull beaches and places of these fantastic islands.

There is the possiblity to learn more about open sea navigation with experienced skippers in a nice atmosphere and with passengers from all over the world.

Special skipper trainings for prospectively bareboat charterers are possible without extra costs.

If you wish we will give you a confirmation of your done nautical miles and help in navigation on board, night sailing trips, anchor and harbour manoeuvre...

Beginners are also welcome!

Sailing conditions: steady winds with wind forces around 4-6 Bft.

Day temperature: between 24°C and 29 deg.

Night temperature: between 18°C and 24 deg.

The water temperature never sinks under 21 deg. and can rise up to 27 deg.

Flights from/to the Cape Verde Islands, hand- and bath towels, food and drinks on board, water, fuel, gas, periodic cleaning - you have to count approx. with € 125,- / pers. and week.

To arrive in the Cape Verde Islands it is necessary to have a visa. The costs for it are about € 45,- and it lasts about 1-2 weeks to get the visa.
